Yorkshire’d ales!

Posted on October 21, 2017

This is a triple whammy people. We’ve recently hooked up with three of our absolute favourite pub groups through Yorkshire and beyond who’ll now be stocking our lovely gluten free beers. If you’re familiar with the ale scene of God’s own country there will be plenty on here that you recognise as the best in the business.

There’s no bigger complement than this. The legendary Yorkshire brewing behemoth THORNBRIDGE have chosen to stock our cans in all their pubs as the go to gluten free option. Scattered across city centre Sheffield these are all first class boozers that carry a huge range of their excellent own brewed ales. Anybody who knows anything about brewing knows Thornbridge have been at the front curve of the craft ale revolution and set the bar very high early on with their now classic pint, Jaipur.

An ever evolving business that started out from a disused warehouse in the early nineties and became one of Sheffield’s most loved venues, The Forum. With the addition of a few new sites Forum café bars was born and has turned into a multi-site operation with some of the steel city’s most interesting and varied craft beer bars. They’ve recently spread the net further still to include their own True North brewery and gin distillery. True North Bars, as they’re now known, make excellent ales, and feature our cans in all the venues to cover that essential gluten free option. All the pubs have their own unique appeal but it’d be rude not to give a shout out to The Broadfield in particular, an absolute stalwart of the Sheffield craft ale scene, and a long time lover of First Chop.

Market Town Taverns have a large estate of pubs across the North of England specialising in country style boozers with ‘character, atmosphere and charm’. Typically situated in Yorkshire’s idyllic old market towns they’ve spread their wings as wide as Liverpool and Northallerton but also have many city centre outlets. It’s a fantastic group of bars and pubs which all stock a good range of quality ales. Special mention to the craft aficionados Arcadia and East of Arcadia, both in Headingly, that keep a permanent range of our cans in stock. You’ll see our cask and cans in decent coverage across the rest of the group.

Hopefully this helps get you on the right path to track our beers down. We’re working on a more extensive stockists map with full UK coverage but that’s going to take some time now our beers are getting to the furthest corners of the country. The good news for now is that if you’re in Yorkshire, we’ve got you covered.
